EQ-3

EQ 3--Explain at least two difference between Photoshop and Illustrator. Which one do you like better and why?

Photoshop and Illustrator are two similar programs that can create, edit, and transform pictures and images. The most major difference between Illustrator and Photoshop is that Photoshop uses pixels to render the images and Illustrator uses vector lines. The use of vector lines in Illustrator allow for images to be at a maximum quality no matter how far you zoom in on the image, whereas in Photoshop if you zoom in to an image too far the image becomes pixelated and blurry. Another difference between the two is that illustrator allows for many more text options than photoshop. In Illustrator you can type text on a line or a path and type text vertically. I like Illustrator better because when you draw with the brush tool in illustrator it smooths the lines you draw and makes them look pretty, it does not do that in photoshop.
